The Royal Burgh of Crail Festival Society Trust (known as Crail Festival Society) is a charity; Charity Number SC020929 © Crail Festival and Branklyn Web Design 2011 Welcome... ... to the Crail Festival website. Our 2011 summer Festival ran from Wednesday 20 July until Saturday 30 July. The summer Festival started with the free Grand Opening, which this year featured Lochgelly Brass Band and included Crail’s own Strolling Players plus stalls, games for all the family and the Fife Museum Bus  which this year had the theme “A Cabinet of Curiosities”. This year entertainment stretched from Illyria giving an outdoor performance of Twelfth Night to The Sticky Kids Singalong Show, from a series of four recitals in Holy Trinity Catholic Church to a Sandcastle Competition and from a Jazz Lunch to a Junior Golf Skills Competition... events for all tastes and for all the family.  Details of the exciting programme can be accessed through the 2011 Programme button above. This year also saw the re-opening during the Festival of Crail’s Public Putting Green. Competitions were held during the Festival. Crail does not enjoy good mobile phone reception and we regret that the mobile number which we gave for Box Office enquiries often rang out but did not have sufficiently strong a signal for the enquirer to speak to us, this despite our having this year changed provider in an attempt to overcome this problem. We apologise to those whose calls to this number were unanswered or resulted in incomplete conversations with us.
